Mindset First

  1. GRATITUDE

Take a minute to write down at least one thing you are grateful for today. It’s hard to stay in a bad mood when you begin your day grateful.

  1. SET YOUR INTENTION

How do you want to show up today? There are so many factors throughout the day/week that you can’t control. But one thing you can control is being intentional about how you want to show up.

ACTION Brings More Clarity and Confidence

confidence mindset Jul 13, 2020

Do you want a way to gain more confidence?

Do you want more clarify around your goals and what you want in life?

It may sound scary, but taking ACTION will provide both confidence and clarify.

Sitting and thinking about your goals won't give you more clarity.

Reading a ton of books or listening to a ton of videos on mindset and confidence isn't a long term fix. (Although you know I loveee my morning personal development/mindset reading!) It helps with daily mindset, but isn't what will build confidence over time.

What gives you clarity and more confidence is taking ACTION toward your goals. Yes, it will be scary. Yes, sometimes it's hard to take the first step without knowing exactly what the end goal will look like.

As you take action, as you grow and develop your skills, you WILL start to gain more confidence and clarity in your goals/path.

Creating Your Habit Score Card - Simple Positive Habits and Mindset Shifts

In my virtual community this month we are not only working on our health & fitness goals, but we are also focusing on mindset shifts & habits as well! And talk about a holyyyy motivating positive vibes crew! Right now we are reading the book Atomic Habits, by James Clear. This video is last Thursday's training discussing creating a Habit Scorecard to evaluate your current daily habits and also where you may want to add in some new ones!

I am revisiting this training and habit score card for myself this week. There are so many unknowns with the global pandemic right now and it has thrown a lot of us into stressful and unstructured situations. There is a TON WE CAN'T CONTROL right now, but it got me to think, "What can I implement and control right now?"

I am tired of feeling "off" and "in a funk". Yes, we won't be able to shake these feelings entirely. But one thing I have learned to be true is that when we implement some sort of a...

5 Tips to Kick-Off the New Year

goal setting mindset Jan 12, 2020

Here are my 5 quick tips/reminders to kick-off 2020!

1. REALISTIC GOALS
Set REALISTIC goals. But don't be afraid to set goals that stretch you! When you step out of your comfort zone amazing things can happen!

2. LEAVE IT IN THE PAST AND MOVE FORWARD
Don't be hard on yourself for what did or did not happen last year. Know that you were right where you needed to be in 2019. Learn from it. Grow from it. This is a new year, a fresh start - focus on the future and making this year great! (Notice I say "making" rather than "having a great year" because it is up to YOU to make these goals happen!)

3.  THREE MONTH YEAR
Try something new and break the year into quarters. Pretend your year is three months long, rather than twelve. Just imagine all that you can accomplish if you focus on accomplishing these big goals in one quarter rather than a full year. I promise you will get way more accomplished this way!
I highly recommend reading the book "The 12 Week Year: Get More Done in 12 Weeks than...
